Kevin did an amazing job in fixing our door lock. He replaced the broken door handle with a new one, as I requested. After a while the lock started jamming. I called him and explained the problem. He came over the same day to take a look. Then, he took initiative, consulted with GU, found a better matching trim for our existing lock and installed it. He did not charge anything extra, although the new lock's price was $200 higher. He also offered a one-year warranty for labour and material. Overall, I was very pleased with his work and I am happy to recommend him.

Kitchen Drawer Fix

I jammed a drawer with no way to fix it without removing several drawers (they don’t come out on their own, so it meant removing all the hardware for the slides). They did a great job and arrived right on time.

Pre-Sale Condo Repairs

Very positive experience! I needed some pre-sale condo repairs, including interior painting, fixing closet doors and fans, re-sealing a shower and repairing water damage to window sills. I was astonished when Kevin stopped by within hours of contacting BGBM to review the work and provide a quote on the same day. His communication was great - at the end of each day he reviewed progress with me and checked if I wanted to make changes. He offered good suggestions that respected my budget, worked quickly, did a thorough job with attention to detail, and was so friendly, which made the whole process less stressful. The best part was that he was able to handle every job himself, so I didn’t need to have multiple workers in my condo during covid. I’m very happy with the outcome. Have already recommended Kevin.

Kevin was really nice and great to work with but unfortunately we feel that we were overcharged for the services we received. We only got some minor repairs done but we paid so much and there’s still work to be done at the end of the day. it would have been great if the price was adjusted to match the work done.

Murphy Bed Assembly

Exceptionally professional, On time, Courteous, Patient, Understanding, Very Pet Friendly, and Respectful. Missing hardware and a damaged piece prevented him from beginning the assembly until items replaced. He didn’t even charge me for his 2 hours of unpacking 3 boxes! Unfortunately, The only downside was that his schedule was fully booked for all of October and he is not available until November so I’m back to square 1 searching for someone to complete the job.

Sometimes its the smallest jobs that are the hardest to find someone for. Be Gold Building Maintenance helped me out for such a job, where I needed to install curtains in a tricky spot and needed a professional to install the mounts. Kevin came in well prepared and on time, completing the job with minimal fuss. He was in and out quick, not because he wanted to quickly get out, but because he was extremely thorough while still being quick. I will definitely be hiring him for future jobs.

Kevin was professional and was able to come in as early as the next day, being a tenanted unit I needed to give the 24 hours notice.
